For Andrew, the opportunity to support the innovation ecosystem and showcase Australian technology on the world stage is nothing short of astounding. Prior to Larsen Ventures, Andrew was also a part of the Navitas narrative. Known for his sharp business acumen, Andrew is often sought as an advisor, mentor and judge by business leaders and entrepreneurs. Aside from his work at Larsen Ventures, Andrew is also a partner at Folklore Ventures and a board member at several growth stage start-ups.

Peter’s extensive background in education technology and administration brings a depth of expertise and insight in the sector. Since retiring from Navitas in 2014, Peter now focuses on Larsen Ventures, identifying and supporting select tech-based investment opportunities.

Peter co-founded Navitas, taking a single education concept from a standing start in Perth to a global platform listed on the ASX-100. That experience, building a category before it had a name, shapes how Larsen Ventures backs founders today: with conviction, patience, and a bias toward people over pitch decks. Since retiring from Navitas in 2014, Peter has focused on identifying and supporting select technology investments, bringing three decades of building, scaling and governing businesses to every boardroom he sits in.

Neera has enjoyed a lengthy career in the education sector, bringing real-world global experience to the team. Neera started at Navitas when it was a fledgling company being part of the organisation’s growth. In her role, Neera travelled extensively, establishing new colleges from the ground up. As innovation emerged, Neera immersed herself in Edtech. Neera has in-depth knowledge in the international education and K-12 Edtech spaces and supports our portfolio companies, deepening relationships and sharing our education expertise. Neera loves finding start-ups that harness technology to solve big problems and enjoys working closely with Founders as they grow their business and chase their dreams.

With an interest in education dating back to the analogue age, Andrew’s experience in education spans more than two decades. He has worked closely with investors in public and private education companies. Andrew has an enduring interest in EdTech and is currently focusing on technology opportunities that facilitate the experience and outcomes for educators, students, providers and investors across the whole education journey from prospect to employment. Recently, Andrew has built on his education and business management qualifications studying disruption and innovation at INSEAD. Always on the lookout for EdTech that disrupts, Andrew is directly involved in an exciting technology-based initiative in global international education.

Neera's career started at Navitas when it was still a fledgling company, and took her around the world establishing new colleges from the ground up; early, hands-on experience in what it actually takes to build something new. That grounding now shows up in how she works with founders: close, candid, and genuinely invested in the outcome. Neera focuses on sourcing and supporting technology businesses across the fund's mandate, and is particularly energised by founders using technology to solve problems that have been overlooked for too long.
