For Andrew, the opportunity to support the innovation ecosystem and showcase Australian technology on the world stage is nothing short of astounding. Prior to Larsen Ventures, Andrew was also a part of the Navitas narrative. Known for his sharp business acumen, Andrew is often sought as an advisor, mentor and judge by business leaders and entrepreneurs. Aside from his work at Larsen Ventures, Andrew is also a partner at Folklore Ventures and a board member at several growth stage start-ups.

Neera has in-depth knowledge in the international education and K-12 Edtech spaces and supports our portfolio companies, deepening relationships and sharing our education expertise. Neera loves finding start-ups that harness technology to solve big problems and enjoys working closely with Founders as they grow their business and chase their dreams.

With an interest in education dating back to the analogue age, Andrew’s experience in education spans more than two decades. He has worked closely with investors in public and private education companies. Andrew has an enduring interest in EdTech and is currently focusing on technology opportunities that facilitate the experience and outcomes for educators, students, providers and investors across the whole education journey from prospect to employment. Recently, Andrew has built on his education and business management qualifications studying disruption and innovation at INSEAD. Always on the lookout for EdTech that disrupts, Andrew is directly involved in an exciting technology-based initiative in global international education.

Our heritage is steeped in education innovation. Our executive chairman, Peter Larsen, co-founded Navitas, a ground-breaking higher education pathway founded in Perth in 1994. Back in the 1990s, the Navitas concept was novel, yet it grew exponentially earning a global reputation. Navitas listed as an ASX-100 company in 2014 and today, it is privately held.
